The Zionist state of Israel continues ethnic cleansing and genocide in Palestine. Gaza has been turned into a giant concentration camp, a hell on earth. Famine is spreading with dozens of deaths every day. Hundreds of hungry Palestinians have been murdered outside the few food distribution centres. Nearly two million souls are held hostage in the hands of the Israeli army in order to achieve the Zionist military and political goals. Netanyahu government has decided to occupy the entire Gaza Strip, expanding military operations ignoring the new death toll this will cause to the exhausted Palestinian population.
The very act of establishing the Zionist state of Israel was possible only after the crimes of ethnic cleansing-occupation of Palestinian lands, the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their villages and their land. It is a racist apartheid state, constantly on war, expanding against all its neighbours and committing state murder on a daily basis, with a clear target on creating a “big” Israel. There is no two state solution. We fight for the dismantling of the Zionist state, for a free, multi-ethnic, democratic (socialist) Palestine from the river to the sea.
Our masters, the Western governments and their institutions, recognize the right of “self-defense” to the state of Israel and stand resolutely on the side of zionism. Cynically indifferent to the murder of more than 60 thousand Palestinians (including thousands of children), they support politically – financially and protect militarily Israel by rewarding and reinforcing its aggression.
On the contrary, peoples, workers, the oppressed, the youth all over the world regardless of race, gender, religious beliefs and sexual orientation supported the right of Palestinians to resist occupation and ethnic cleansing, supported the right of Palestinians to live in security, enjoying freedoms, rights and dignity in their homeland.
We call on those of them who are currently in Greek tourist destinations to continue to stand by the Palestinian people and to demonstrate this solidarity at every opportunity. Whether they are here as seasonal workers in the sweatshops of the tourist industry, or as migrant workers in the construction sites, or as visitors enjoying the few days of rest and relaxation to which they are entitled, we call on them to separate themselves from Zionism and the crimes it commits, to denounce the collusion of their governments and their exploiters with the Zionist murderers and war criminals.
We demand from our governments:
- To break economic, diplomatic, military relations with the Zionist, racist, murdering state of Israel
- The immediate and unconditional recognition of a Palestinian state
- The recognition of the Palestinian people’s right to resistance by the means they choose and the right of the Palestinian people to choose their own representatives and leadership
